In the free Republic of America, we do not have dictators, we have elected officials.
Did you vote? Who did you vote for? Why did you vote for who you voted for?
Who do you blame for the mess this country, the United States of America is in? Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump or Biden? It should be none of the above. The mess we find ourselves in and all of our current difficulties were created by the voters of America. How do many voters decide on which candidate to vote for, I think too many depend on sound bytes and video clips. How about you, how do you pick a candidate to vote for? Is it through peer pressure? Is it party affiliation? So I believe that some of the reasons voters vote for a particular candidate for office is, name recognition, sound bytes and video clips, word of mouth and emotion, such as I like his looks etc… Another reason might be reality versus perceived reality, yes what some voters perceive the candidate to be.
Emotion versus logic comes into play with those voters who are incapable of applying logic to their life’s most important decisions. Then unfortunately there are those who respond to fear mongering. What about concept versus practice, if I am elected to be president, I will lower your taxes, but wait isn’t this the responsibility of congress?
What do you suppose the average voter IQ is in this free republic of the United States of America?
Among those manipulators that want to influence your vote are the yellow dog journalist or yellow journalist. These journalist are not interested in what is sometimes referred to as honest, factual and balanced reporting. No, they attempt to sensationalize what they call news, in order to sell more costly advertising. It apparently works!
Then there are the unnamed unseen influence peddlers/manipulators. Have you made a voting decision based upon information you received from vague or ambiguous sources? I believe there are two very important areas that we voters of America should study in order to qualify to vote. First is the constitution of the United States of America, second are taxes, I mean by taxes just how much do you pay collectively? Probably don’t know as most of us certainly do not. If we as the voting public were knowledgeable regarding just these two subjects; we would more than likely make better informed voting decisions.
